Regulation
The following Terms and Conditions and Local Rules, together with any additional Rules published by the Technical Committee, apply to qualifying competitions, organized by WCGC-Costa Rica and played in accordance with the Golf Rules approved by R&A Rules Ltd.

HANDICAP
REGISTRATION
The Standard registration fee, per team, does not include the cost of the training rounds, the cart rental or the trolley.
CONDITIONS FOR REGISTRATION
Registration for the race will only be considered effective upon receipt of the respective form, payment of the registration fee and validation by the Technical Commission.
At any time, the Technical Commission may request the updated complete Handicap Certificate.
The Organization reserves the right to change the PLAYER’s handicap of the game, considering the type of rounds valid for the handicap (GHIN) as well as the player’s previous participations.
The respective confirmations and information will be sent later.
It is the responsibility of each player to verify their correct registration in the “WORLD CORPORATE GOLF CHALLENGE COSTA RICA”
World Final 2024

WITHDRAWALS
Any resignation of a team one week (7 days) before the event implies the non-refund of the registration fee.
PLAYER in the qualifying phase: If a player is unable to compete in a qualifying stage, he may be replaced by another player, provided that the Technical Commission is notified up to one hour before the start of that stage.
AWARDS
TOURNAMENT: 1st team, net score
The first prize, consisting of a trip to Haikou, China, with the purpose of participating in the grand final, with the expenses paid for plane and lodging. If the first team is unable to fulfill its duty to represent Costa Rica in the world event, the team in second place will be the representative. In case the second place cannot meet, it moves to the third team, and so on.

HOLE 17: Hole-in-One. Sponsored by BMW Costa Rica. Prize: a 100% electric BMW Lx1.
Selection of the winners
The team with the most net points will be named the champion team of the tournament.
In the event of a tie anywhere, the tiebreaker will be carried out by comparison of cards, considering the score obtained during the competition, on holes 10 to 18 of the course, if the tie persists, from 13 to 18, if it continues, from 16 to 18. If the tie persists, the score of the 18th hole will be compared, then the 17th hole, the 16th hole, and so on until the 1st hole.
General Provisions:
By participating in the World Corporate Golf Challenge Costa Rica, teams agree to be bound by all provisions and regulations established for the tournament.
RESULTS RECORDING AREA AND GAME CARDS DELIVERED
The location of the Results Recording Area will be published on the Additional Local Rules sheet, as well as in the Official Competition Framework.
At the end of the test, at least one of the players of each formation must appear before the results conference table and the Technical Commission, where the results will be awarded, the respective cards will be signed by the representatives of the teams and any occurrence of the game will be declared.
The player’s scorecard is officially handed over to the Technical Committee when the player leaves the Record of Results area with both feet.
The stipulated time per lap is set out on the Scorecard. The delivery of the Scorecard 10 minutes later than established implies the subtraction of 2 stableford points. For each additional 10-minute period, it involves the deduction plus 1 stableford point. This penalty does not invalidate the slow play penalties assigned under the Local Rules. It is recommended that the player, or the team, lift the ball whenever it is not possible to score in the game of the hole.
RULES, TECHNICAL COMMISSION AND REFEREES, PLAYER:
The organizing committee reserves the right to make any change that it deems necessary for the best development of the tournament and any point not foreseen in this call or that is not clearly worded, will be resolved by the organizing committee. In the event of force majeure that forces the cancellation of the event, the organizing committee reserves the right to make any modification in the selection of the winner. In addition, if the tournament has less than 50% capacity, a single winner will be chosen to represent WCGC-Costa Rica in the world event.

Reglamento
Los siguientes Términos y Condiciones y Reglas Locales, junto con cualquier Regla adicional publicada por el Comité Técnico, se aplican a las competiciones de calificación, organizada por WCGC-Costa Rica y, jugadas de acuerdo con las Reglas de Golf aprobadas por R&A Rules Ltd.

HANDICAP
INSCRIPCIÓN
El valor de inscripción Standard, por equipo, no incluye el costo de las vueltas de entrenamiento, el alquiler de carrito o el trolley.
CONDICIONES PARA LA INSCRIPCIÓN
La inscripción en la prueba sólo se considerará efectiva tras la recepción del respectivo formulario, el pago del importe de inscripción y la validación por parte de la Comisión Técnica.
En cualquier momento la Comisión Técnica puede solicitar el Certificado de Handicap completo actualizado.
La Organización se reserva el derecho de cambiar el hándicap del jugador, teniendo en cuenta el tipo de vueltas válidas para el hándicap (GHIN) así como las participaciones anteriores del jugador.
Las respectivas confirmaciones e información se remitirán posteriormente.
Es responsabilidad de cada jugador verificar su correcta inscripción en el “WORLD CORPORATE GOLF CHALLENGE COSTA RICA ”
Final Mundial 2024

DESISTENCIAS
Cualquier renuncia de un equipo una semana (7 días) antes del evento implica la no devolución del costo de inscripción.
De JUGADOR en la fase de clasificación: Si un jugador no puede competir en una etapa clasificatoria, podrá ser reemplazado por otro jugador, siempre que la Comisión Técnica sea notificada hasta una hora antes del inicio de esa etapa.
PREMIOS
TORNEO: 1er equipo, puntuación neta
El primer premio, consistente en un viaje a Haikou, China, con el propósito de participar en la gran final, con los gastos pagados de avión y hospedaje. En la eventualidad que el primer equipo no pueda cumplir con su deber de representar a Costa Rica en el evento mundial, el equipo en el segundo lugar será el representante. En caso de que el segundo lugar no pueda cumplir, se mueve al tercer equipo, y así sucesivamente.

Selección de los ganadores
El equipo con la mayor cantidad de puntos neto será nombrado el equipo campeón del torneo.
En caso de existir un empate en cualquier lugar, el desempate se llevará a cabo por comparación de tarjetas, considerando el score obtenido durante la competencia, en los hoyos 10 al 18 del campo, si persiste el empate, del 13 al 18, de continuar, del 16 al 18. Si persistiera el empate se comparará el score del hoyo 18, posteriormente el hoyo 17, hoyo 16, y así sucesivamente hasta el hoyo 1.
Disposiciones Generales:
Al participar en el World Corporate Golf Challenge Costa Rica, los equipos aceptan someterse a todas las disposiciones y reglamentos establecidos para el torneo.
ÁREA DE REGISTRO DE RESULTADOS Y TARJETAS DE JUEGO ENTREGADAS
La ubicación del Área de Registro de Resultados se publicará en la hoja de Reglas Locales Adicionales, así como en el Marco Oficial de la Competencia.
Al final de la prueba, al menos uno de los jugadores de cada formación deberá comparecer ante la mesa de conferencia de resultados y la Comisión Técnica, donde se conferirán los resultados, se firmarán las respectivas tarjetas por los representantes de los equipos y se declararán cualquier ocurrencia de juego.
La tarjeta de resultados del jugador se entrega oficialmente a la Comisión Técnica cuando el jugador abandona el área de Registro de Resultados con ambos pies.
El tiempo estipulado por vuelta se establece en la Tarjeta de Resultados. La entrega de la Tarjeta de Resultados 10 minutos después de lo establecido implica la resta de 2 puntos stableford. Por cada periodo de 10 minutos más, implica la deducción más 1 punto stableford. Esta penalización no invalida las sanciones por juego lento asignadas en virtud de las Reglas Locales. Se recomienda que el jugador, o el equipo, levante el balón siempre que en el juego del hoyo no sea posible anotar.
REGLAS, COMISIÓN TÉCNICA Y ÁRBITROS, JUGADOR:
a)REGLAS: Las aprobadas por R&A Rules Ltd, las condiciones establecidas por los Términos de Competencia y las Reglas Locales de Aplicación Permanente del Campeonato, así como las Reglas Locales Adicionales establecidas por la Comisión Técnica.
b)COMISIÓN TÉCNICA Y ÁRBITROS: Serán designados oportunamente por la entidad Organizadora.
El comité organizador se reserva el derecho de hacer cualquier cambio que juzgue necesario para el mejor desarrollo del torneo y cualquier punto no previsto en la presente convocatoria o que no esté redactado con claridad, será resuelto por el comité organizador. En caso de fuerza mayor que obligue a cancelar el evento, el comité organizador se reserva el derecho de realizar cualquier modificación en la selección del ganador. Además, si el torneo cuenta con menos del 50% de capacidad, se elegirá un único ganador para representar a WCGC-Costa Rica en el evento mundial.
c)JUGADOR: Al aceptar representar a un equipo y participar en las competiciones de “WORLD CORPORATE GOLF CHALLENGE Costa Rica”, el jugador se compromete a cumplir con el Código de Conducta definido para la competición y disponible en cualquier momento en la entidad organizadora.
